G. K. Chesterton once made a comment that "the poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese." I hope you will not, as a poet, disagree too much with the following:

I think that no one
Ever sees
A poem as lovely
As a cheese,

And that is why
(As G.K. notes)
The subject sticks
In poets' throats.
